I own a sharp gx15 phone, and while sending a contact to a bt phone just found, it requires password crossing (sender sets a pass, receiver introduces it on it's own terminal). So it makes no possible toothing (at least, no without agreeding first with partner).
I've used 1234 before. But like you say there should be a standard password. Maybe the ones to try are 0000 1234 123?
Usually it's only when you try to PAIR two devices it asks for a passcode. This is intended to stop other people pairing to your headset etc. You can send contacts and multimedia to other Bluetooth devices without pairing (and so no passcode ;) )
I have a Sony Ericsson T610 and any tiem I have tried to tooth somebody I get the request for a password, and as a computer person, have tried all the obvious choices, 0000, 1234, 123...Etc...to no avail, is there a way of setting your password, so we can keep them all as simple as possible.
does anyone know how to send written messages or notes on the sharp gx 15
i have found a small way around my problem by sending something as a entry in the calender, but this would be no good if the reciver does not know the date entered.
